Zeliq Raises €7 Million to Build the AI Sales Team of the Future

Sales teams have spent years assembling separate tools for finding prospects, verifying contact data, managing outreach and tracking customer activity. French sales technology company Zeliq is now betting that artificial intelligence can bring those fragmented workflows into one operating environment. The company has raised €7 million in a seed extension to accelerate its AI platform and develop a new generation of autonomous sales agents.

New funding

The round was led by The Moon Venture, with participation from Julien Jean through JJCapinvest and Sylvestre Blavet of Freelance.com. Existing investors Ora Global and Cleo Ventures also joined the round, alongside business angels and family offices.

The latest financing brings Zeliq’s total funding to €21 million in less than three years. The company plans to use the capital to strengthen its AI infrastructure, expand its product and technology teams, and continue its European expansion.

One platform for sales

Zeliq is designed to bring several stages of the sales process into one workspace. Its platform combines prospect discovery, contact data enrichment, lead management and multichannel outreach.

The company’s database now provides access to more than 450 million contacts and 35 million companies. Its enrichment system checks information across more than 40 data providers, helping sales teams identify and verify professional email addresses and phone numbers.

The platform also supports outreach through email, social messaging and calls, while CRM integrations allow sales teams to keep customer records updated without manually transferring information between systems.

Moving toward AI agents

Zeliq is now shifting its focus from an all in one sales platform toward what it calls an Agentic Revenue Workspace. The concept combines human sales strategy with AI agents capable of carrying out repetitive operational work.

The company argues that sales professionals should remain responsible for strategy and important decisions while AI handles tasks such as researching prospects, enriching data, identifying opportunities and preparing outreach.

CEO and co founder Dorian Ciavarella said sales teams have accumulated numerous software tools over the past decade, creating additional complexity and time spent switching between systems. He believes the next generation of sales platforms will use AI agents to execute workflows while keeping people in control.

Introducing Zelia

Alongside the funding, Zeliq has introduced the beta version of Zelia, its AI sales agent. The company says Zelia has been developed over more than a year and tested by tens of thousands of users.

Zelia can search for prospects, enrich their information and help initiate contact based on instructions from salespeople. It can also analyse online activity and identify potential buying signals that may indicate when a prospect is more likely to be receptive to outreach.

The agent can work through an MCP connector, allowing it to interact with large language models and other tools already used by sales teams.

Scaling the sales workforce

Zeliq’s approach is built around combining large scale prospect data with automated workflows. Its platform can identify potential customers, verify their contact information, launch personalised sequences and track engagement from one environment. The company currently says it is used by more than 15,000 sales professionals across more than 50 countries.

The company’s latest funding will support development of its AI infrastructure and the Agentic Revenue Workspace. Zeliq also plans to launch its first complete suite of AI sales agents, double its product and technology teams over the next year, deepen partnerships with CRM providers and continue expanding across Europe.

The broader ambition is to move sales software from a collection of disconnected tools toward an environment where human teams set the direction while AI agents increasingly handle the operational work required to turn prospects into customers.
