Tryll Secures Pre Seed Funding to Expand Its AI Engine for Video Games

Tryll has raised $600,000 in a pre seed funding round led by Early Game Ventures, reaching a valuation of $6 million. The investment will support product development, market expansion, and preparations for a broader commercial launch later this year.

Alongside the funding announcement, the company has also introduced the closed alpha version of Tryll Engine, its platform designed to help game developers integrate artificial intelligence into games without relying on cloud infrastructure.

Bringing AI Directly to the Player

As demand for AI powered gaming experiences grows, developers are increasingly exploring ways to create more responsive and interactive virtual worlds.

Traditional approaches often require game studios to connect AI models to cloud services that process conversations, voice interactions, and other intelligent features remotely.

Tryll has taken a different approach by enabling AI models to run directly on players’ hardware.

The company’s technology processes language models, speech recognition systems, and speech synthesis capabilities locally on gaming devices.

Building the Tryll Engine Platform

At the centre of the company’s offering is Tryll Engine, a platform designed to simplify AI integration for game studios.

The platform allows developers to implement conversational characters, voice enabled interactions, and AI driven gameplay features using familiar game development tools.

To support adoption, the company has developed plugins for Unity 6 and Unreal Engine 5, two of the world’s most widely used game engines.

These integrations allow development teams to add AI capabilities without needing extensive expertise in machine learning infrastructure.

By removing technical barriers, the company hopes to make AI accessible to a much broader range of studios, from independent developers to larger gaming companies.
