London based Eunice has secured $8 million in a combined seed and pre seed funding round, positioning itself at the forefront of transforming how institutions evaluate and document complex investment decisions. As regulatory scrutiny intensifies across global markets, the company is building infrastructure designed to make due diligence more transparent, structured, and defensible.

Strong Investor Confidence in a Growing Need

The funding round was led by Moonfire Ventures and Speedinvest, with participation from Openspace Ventures along with several experienced founders from the financial and technology sectors. This backing reflects growing recognition of the challenges institutions face in managing increasingly complex investment landscapes.

As alternative assets continue to scale globally, investors are under mounting pressure to demonstrate not just returns but also robust governance, transparency, and accountability in their decision making processes.

Building Infrastructure for Modern Due Diligence

Founded to address inefficiencies in traditional workflows, Eunice develops institutional grade infrastructure that standardises how investment decisions are assessed, documented, and justified. The platform is designed to replace fragmented and manual processes with a cohesive system that ensures consistency and audit readiness.

Initially, Eunice focused on digital assets, a sector where the need for structured due diligence became evident early due to rapid innovation and regulatory uncertainty. The company deployed AI driven agents capable of producing asset level assessments, helping institutions navigate complex risk environments with greater clarity.

Eunice also contributed to the development of disclosure templates through the Financial Conduct Authority Regulatory Sandbox, reinforcing its role in shaping emerging standards for transparency in digital finance.

Expanding Beyond Digital Assets

While its roots lie in digital assets, Eunice is now extending its infrastructure across a broader range of alternative investments. These include private markets where institutional players such as pension funds, endowments, and funds of funds operate under increasing scrutiny.

In these environments, due diligence processes are often highly manual and inconsistent. Investment teams must evaluate complex opportunities while also maintaining clear records of how decisions are made, a requirement that is becoming more critical as regulatory expectations rise.

Eunice addresses this gap by introducing standardised, auditable frameworks that integrate both automation and human oversight. This approach ensures that while efficiency is improved, professional judgement remains central to the decision making process.

Leadership Perspective on Transparency

According to founder and CEO Yi Luo, opacity in decision making does not eliminate risk but rather conceals it until it becomes a problem. She emphasised that Eunice is focused on enabling institutions to clearly demonstrate not only what decisions were made but also how those decisions were reached.

This philosophy underpins the company’s mission to make investment processes more accountable and resilient, particularly in sectors where complexity and uncertainty are inherent.

Scaling AI and Market Reach

The newly raised capital will be directed toward advancing Eunice’s AI capabilities, allowing the platform to deliver deeper insights and more comprehensive assessments across a wider range of asset classes. In addition, the company plans to expand its coverage within private markets and strengthen its commercial operations.

As both digital assets and alternative investments continue to evolve, the demand for structured and transparent decision making frameworks is expected to grow significantly. Eunice aims to position itself as a critical infrastructure provider in this space, bridging the gap between innovation and regulation.

With strong investor backing and a clear focus on solving one of the most pressing challenges in modern finance, Eunice is poised to redefine how institutions approach due diligence in an increasingly complex world.
