SolveAI Bags $45M to Democratise Enterprise Software Development with AI

London based SolveAI has raised $45 million in a Series A funding round to expand its platform that allows enterprise employees to build compliant software using natural language rather than code. The round was led by GV and follows a previously undisclosed $5 million pre seed investment led by Accel. Northzone, Mantis VC, NeverLift and a group of angel investors also participated, including Palantir CISO Mike LoSapio, AI researcher Pushmeet Kohli and Olivier Godement.

Turning everyday employees into enterprise builders

As artificial intelligence reshapes software development, many low and no code tools remain focused on individual developers, small teams or experimental use cases. Large enterprises face very different constraints. Applications must integrate with legacy systems, operate within existing infrastructure, comply with security and governance standards and scale reliably across departments and geographies.

This gap has left many organisations dependent on expensive custom software projects or overburdened internal IT teams. Employees who understand operational pain points best often lack the tools to build solutions themselves, slowing innovation and limiting the practical impact of AI.

SolveAI was founded to change that dynamic.

A platform designed for real enterprise complexity

Founded in July 2025 by former Palantir engineer Steve Basher, SolveAI enables employees across operations, sales, finance and frontline roles to build fully functional internal applications using natural language. Instead of starting with code, users begin by describing a problem or workflow they want to improve.

SolveAI first generates a written proposal outlining the recommended solution, the reasoning behind it and the intended functionality. This is paired with a technical specification covering data integration, infrastructure requirements and algorithmic considerations. Teams can review and refine this proposal collaboratively before approving it for development.

Once approved, SolveAI orchestrates a set of specialised AI agents responsible for different stages of the software lifecycle. These agents handle user experience design, frontend and backend development and system integration, ultimately delivering a complete enterprise ready application that meets compliance and security standards.

Security and governance built in

A core differentiator for SolveAI is its focus on enterprise grade controls. Unlike many no code platforms that struggle to operate within regulated environments, SolveAI is designed to integrate directly with existing IT systems and governance frameworks.

Applications generated through the platform can run on company infrastructure, respect access controls and comply with internal and external regulatory requirements. This allows organisations to unlock faster development without introducing new security risks or shadow IT problems.

According to Basher, enterprises want to benefit from the AI coding wave but often find that existing tools underestimate the complexity of large scale operations.

SolveAI puts the power to build software directly in the hands of the people closest to the problems, without compromising security or compliance, he said.

Early interest from complex industries

Companies in sectors such as manufacturing, retail and financial services are already exploring SolveAI as a way to accelerate internal development. These environments often involve fragmented systems, strict compliance rules and highly specialised workflows that are difficult to address with off the shelf software.

By enabling domain experts to build their own tools, SolveAI aims to reduce dependency on long custom development cycles and free up developer teams to focus on core platforms and infrastructure.

Fueling the next phase of growth

The new funding will be used to expand SolveAI’s platform capabilities and support broader enterprise adoption. The company plans to continue refining its AI agent architecture and deepen integrations with enterprise systems, positioning itself as a foundational layer for internal software creation.

With strong backing from both top tier venture firms and experienced industry operators, SolveAI is betting that the future of enterprise software will be built not just by developers, but by the employees who know their organisations best.
