Stockholm based startup Pit has emerged from stealth with a public launch and $16 million in funding to transform how enterprises build and manage internal software systems. The company is introducing an AI native platform designed to replace the fragmented combination of spreadsheets, inboxes, and rigid SaaS tools that still power many business operations today.

The funding round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Lakestar, company founders, and a group of angel investors connected to leading technology companies including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Deel, and Revolut.
The round also included backing from the influential Stena and Lundin families, reflecting confidence in Pit’s ambition to redefine enterprise operations through AI.
