As food delivery reshapes how urban consumers eat, consistency and operational discipline are becoming the defining factors for success. Istanbul based Paket Mutfak is betting that the future of takeaway belongs to delivery first brands built on strong systems rather than traditional restaurant models. The cloud kitchen software startup has now raised $3.8 million in new funding to accelerate its growth and deepen its technology driven approach to food operations.
The latest round includes follow on investment from existing backers Nokta Yatırım Holding, Ünlü & Co, and Fırat İşbecer, alongside new investors such as Ali Sabancı, Sip & Bite GSYF, Robert Baler, and Corsini Global. With this raise, Paket Mutfak’s total funding reaches $12.3 million.
Building for Delivery at Scale
Paket Mutfak operates at the intersection of software, operations, and food delivery. Rather than positioning itself as a traditional cloud kitchen operator, the company focuses on building an end to end operational platform designed specifically for delivery environments.
The company currently runs 16 food brands across 16 locations in Istanbul. Through its proprietary infrastructure, Paket Mutfak manages millions of orders annually across major food delivery platforms. Its multi brand model allows it to test, launch, and scale concepts rapidly while maintaining control over preparation, quality, and logistics.
This delivery centric setup enables Paket Mutfak to optimise workflows, standardise recipes, and monitor performance across locations, helping the company deliver consistent results in an industry known for variability.
Tackling the Quality Problem in Takeaway
According to co founder and CEO Tali Şalhon, inconsistency remains one of the biggest challenges in the takeaway sector.
He explained that many delivery brands struggle to maintain the same quality from one order to the next, particularly as they scale. Paket Mutfak’s response has been to prioritise operational excellence at every stage of the process.
The company continuously refines its internal systems, from kitchen workflows to supplier coordination, to ensure customers receive the same experience every time they order. This emphasis on repeatability and discipline is central to Paket Mutfak’s strategy as it expands its footprint.
Moving Closer to the Customer
Beyond strengthening its existing infrastructure, Paket Mutfak is preparing to take a more direct role in the customer relationship. Co founder and CSO Eytan Nahmiyas said the company plans to develop its own consumer application, allowing it to oversee the full journey from order placement to post delivery engagement.
By building a proprietary ordering channel, Paket Mutfak aims to gain deeper insight into customer behaviour, improve feedback loops, and create a more seamless experience. The move would also reduce reliance on third party platforms over time and give the company greater flexibility in how it designs promotions, loyalty programmes, and service improvements.
Funding Fuels Technology and Expansion
The newly raised capital will be used across several strategic areas. A significant portion will go toward strengthening the company’s technology stack, including systems that support kitchen operations, delivery optimisation, and data driven decision making.
Paket Mutfak also plans to invest in customer experience improvements, supply chain flexibility, and the continued expansion of its brand and location network. As the company scales, maintaining agility across sourcing and logistics will be critical to supporting multiple brands under one operational umbrella.
Positioning for the Next Phase of Growth
As competition intensifies in the cloud kitchen and food delivery space, Paket Mutfak is positioning itself as a platform built for sustainable scale rather than rapid but fragile growth. By combining software, operational discipline, and a delivery first mindset, the company aims to set a new standard for how virtual restaurant brands are built and managed.
With fresh capital in place and plans to deepen both its technology and customer relationships, Paket Mutfak is preparing for its next phase of expansion in one of the most dynamic food markets in the region.
