Artificial intelligence is rapidly changing the legal industry, but one of the greatest challenges remains the same, finding and verifying facts hidden within millions of pages of documents. Complex litigation, regulatory investigations, and corporate disputes often require legal teams to spend countless hours reviewing contracts, emails, reports, and communications to build accurate case strategies. As AI becomes increasingly capable of handling sophisticated legal workflows, the ability to identify verifiable facts with precision is emerging as a critical competitive advantage. Legal technology company Legora is strengthening this capability through its latest acquisition, expanding its platform with advanced fact intelligence designed for high stakes legal work.
Legora has announced the acquisition of London based legal technology company Wexler, marking its fifth acquisition of 2026.
The acquisition strengthens Legora’s artificial intelligence platform by adding advanced fact intelligence capabilities that help legal professionals analyse, verify, and organise information from large collections of unstructured documents.
Building the Future of Legal AI
Founded in January 2023 by Gregory Mostyn and Kush Madlani, Wexler developed a specialised fact intelligence platform designed for litigation, investigations, arbitration, and corporate legal work.
Unlike traditional document review tools that generate summaries or isolated text extracts, Wexler’s technology identifies discrete and verifiable facts, including who said what, to whom, when events occurred, and why each fact matters within a legal matter.
The platform is capable of analysing more than one million documents within a single case while maintaining complete traceability to the original evidence.
This enables legal professionals to conduct highly detailed factual analysis with greater speed and confidence.
Supporting Leading Legal Teams
Wexler’s technology is already being used by litigation teams, investigators, arbitrators, and corporate legal departments working on complex disputes and compliance matters.
The platform helps organisations develop comprehensive factual records while reducing the time traditionally spent reviewing extensive document collections.
In house legal teams also use the technology to identify factual risks within contracts and business communications before issues develop into formal legal disputes.
Since its launch, the company has expanded to a team of 18 professionals while achieving significant commercial growth across Europe and the United States through strong customer adoption and recurring revenue.
Expanding Legora’s Platform
Following the acquisition, Wexler’s technology will become part of Legora’s agentic operating system, providing the factual intelligence layer that powers advanced legal workflows.
The integration will allow litigation teams using Legora to create detailed case chronologies, organise evidentiary records, and build comprehensive case strategies without leaving their digital workspace.
Corporate legal departments will also benefit from enhanced capabilities that analyse contracts, communications, and internal records to identify potential legal exposure before claims arise.
By embedding fact intelligence directly into its platform, Legora aims to improve both the speed and accuracy of legal decision making.
Establishing a London Engineering Hub
As part of the acquisition, Wexler’s engineering team will become the founding team of Legora’s new engineering hub in London.
The expansion reflects Legora’s continued investment in product development as demand grows for artificial intelligence solutions across the legal sector.
The company plans to leverage Wexler’s expertise in large scale document reasoning to accelerate innovation across its broader platform while expanding engineering capabilities in one of Europe’s leading technology markets.
Accelerating Global Legal Innovation
The acquisition follows a significant period of growth for Legora, including its recent Series D financing that valued the company at $5.6 billion.
Today, the platform supports more than 100,000 lawyers working across approximately 1,500 law firms and corporate legal teams in over 50 markets worldwide.
By combining Wexler’s specialised fact intelligence technology with its broader artificial intelligence platform, Legora is strengthening its position as a leading provider of legal technology. The acquisition reflects the growing importance of trustworthy, evidence based AI within legal practice, enabling lawyers to manage increasingly complex matters with greater efficiency while maintaining the accuracy and transparency required in modern legal work.
