Paris based infrastructure technology company OpsMill has secured $14 million in Series A funding to expand its platform for infrastructure data management and automation. As enterprises increasingly adopt AI driven operations, the company is positioning itself as a provider of the reliable data foundations needed to support large scale automation safely and efficiently.

Investors Back Infrastructure Intelligence

The funding round was led by IRIS, with participation from BGV and existing investors Serena and Partech.

The investment reflects growing recognition that AI adoption within enterprise infrastructure depends heavily on the quality and reliability of underlying operational data.

The newly raised capital will be used to scale OpsMill’s platform and support increasing demand for AI ready infrastructure management systems.

Solving a Critical Enterprise Problem

Modern enterprises operate highly complex IT environments spread across cloud systems, data centres, networks, and applications. However, much of the information describing these systems remains fragmented across spreadsheets, legacy databases, custom scripts, and disconnected management tools.

This fragmentation creates significant operational risks, particularly as organisations introduce automation and AI into infrastructure management. Inaccurate or incomplete data can lead to failed deployments, security issues, and costly downtime.

OpsMill was founded to address this challenge by providing a unified and trusted infrastructure data layer.

Introducing Infrahub

At the core of the company’s offering is Infrahub, an open source platform designed to act as a central system of record for IT infrastructure environments.

Infrahub is built on a graph database architecture combined with native version control, allowing organisations to track relationships and dependencies across their infrastructure more effectively.

Rather than treating infrastructure as isolated assets, the platform models environments as interconnected systems. This enables teams to better understand how changes impact different components and services.

Designed for Automation and AI

As businesses increasingly rely on automation, the need for consistent and accurate infrastructure data has become more important. OpsMill’s platform is designed specifically to support scalable automation and AI driven operations.

By creating a structured and reliable view of infrastructure environments, Infrahub allows organisations to validate changes, maintain governance, and reduce operational risk before automated workflows are executed.

According to co founder and CEO Damien Garros, automation fundamentally depends on having a complete and trusted understanding of the network and infrastructure environment.

The company believes this trusted data foundation is essential for enabling AI agents to safely interact with enterprise systems.

Open Source and Enterprise Adoption

OpsMill offers Infrahub in two versions: a free open source Community edition and a commercial Enterprise version designed for larger organisations with advanced operational requirements.

The open source approach is intended to encourage adoption among infrastructure teams while allowing enterprises to scale into more advanced commercial capabilities over time.

The platform has already gained traction among large infrastructure operators and enterprises across industries including retail, manufacturing, and financial services.

Building the Future of Infrastructure Operations

The company’s broader vision aligns with the growing shift toward autonomous and AI assisted infrastructure management. As organisations look to reduce operational complexity and improve efficiency, platforms capable of maintaining accurate infrastructure records are becoming increasingly important.

OpsMill aims to become the central operational layer that supports this transition, enabling enterprises to automate infrastructure with greater confidence and governance.

Scaling for Growing Demand

With fresh funding and increasing enterprise adoption, OpsMill plans to continue expanding its platform capabilities and growing its customer base internationally.

As AI becomes more integrated into enterprise operations, the need for reliable infrastructure intelligence is expected to rise significantly. OpsMill is positioning itself at the centre of this evolution by building the trusted data systems that modern automation depends on.

By combining open source accessibility with enterprise scale functionality, the company is aiming to redefine how organisations manage and automate complex infrastructure environments in the AI era.
