Berlin based health technology startup Patronus has secured €11 million in fresh funding as it looks to transform how older adults stay safe, connected, and independent in their daily lives. The company is reimagining traditional emergency response systems by blending wearable technology with intuitive design, aiming to remove the barriers that have long limited adoption among ageing users.
Strong Investor Backing
The funding round was led by 3TS Capital Partners, with additional participation from Grazia Equity. Existing investors including Singular, Burda Principal Investments, Adjacent, NAP, and UVC Partners also joined the round, reinforcing confidence in Patronus’ growth trajectory and market potential.
This investment will support the company’s efforts to expand its presence across Europe and enhance its product offering, particularly in the rapidly evolving mobile emergency response space.

Founded in 2020 by Ben Staudt, Patronus is addressing a long standing issue in elder care technology. Traditional emergency call systems, often installed at home, have struggled with low usage rates.
