Overwatch AI has raised $1.5 million in pre seed funding in a round backed by United Airlines Ventures, Baobab Ventures, Pegasus Innovation Lab, and Masia.
The funding round also included participation from angel investors including David Bennett and Alex Brooker.

Founded in 2025 by former airline pilot Leo Kotil and technology entrepreneur Nikita Kaeshko, the company develops an operational intelligence platform designed specifically for aviation teams involved in flight preparation and live operational decision making.
The founders say one of the biggest challenges facing airline operations today is the fragmented nature of operational information. The company’s platform allows aviation teams to retrieve operational information using natural language queries instead of manually searching through large volumes of documentation.
By combining operational data, technical procedures, airport information, weather intelligence, and compliance documentation into one searchable platform, the company says crews can access relevant information more quickly and consistently during both flight preparation and active operations.
Importantly, Overwatch AI says all responses generated by the platform are fully grounded in official documentation and include traceable source references. This is particularly important in aviation, where operational decisions must comply with strict safety and regulatory standards.
The company believes this approach allows operational teams to make decisions with greater confidence while maintaining compliance and reducing the risk of information gaps or inconsistent procedures.
Already Supporting Live Airline Operations
Although founded only recently, Overwatch AI says its platform is already being used in live flight operations across multiple airlines.
According to the company, the system currently supports more than 30,000 flights per month, helping operational teams reduce time spent searching for information while improving consistency across operational workflows.
The platform is designed not only for pilots but also for broader airline operational teams involved in dispatch, compliance, safety management, and flight support operations.
