Innovorder Raises €20M to Build the Future Operating System for Food Service Businesses

Restaurants and food service businesses are increasingly embracing technology to manage rising operational complexity, labour challenges, and evolving customer expectations. Yet many operators still rely on fragmented systems to handle everything from ordering and payments to kitchen workflows and customer engagement. As digital transformation becomes a strategic priority across the hospitality industry, French restaurant technology company Innovorder is positioning itself as a key player helping operators modernise their businesses through integrated software and artificial intelligence.

The company has secured €20 million in fresh funding to support its next stage of growth and strengthen its position in the European restaurant technology market.

The investment was led by UL Invest, the family office of technology entrepreneur Laurent Useldinger.

The transaction combines new capital with a partial share buyout involving existing investors. Long time investor Evolem, which first backed the company in 2019, remains a shareholder following the operation.

Building a Unified Platform for Food Service

Founded in 2014, Innovorder develops cloud based software solutions designed to simplify restaurant and catering operations.

The company offers an all in one software platform that supports a broad range of business functions, including order management, payment processing, kitchen operations, customer loyalty programmes, reporting, and overall business management.

By bringing multiple operational tools into a single environment, Innovorder aims to help operators improve efficiency while reducing the complexity of managing separate systems.

Its platform serves businesses across numerous segments, including quick service restaurants, bakeries, coffee shops, food courts, transport catering providers, and institutional food service organisations.

Strong Position in Contract Catering

One of Innovorder’s key areas of focus is the European contract catering market, a sector estimated to be worth approximately €22 billion.

Despite its size, much of the industry continues to rely on legacy technology systems and manual processes.

Innovorder has established itself as a cloud native technology provider serving schools, universities, hospitals, corporate dining facilities, and other large scale catering environments.

The company believes the sector offers significant opportunities for digital transformation as operators increasingly seek modern solutions capable of improving operational performance and customer experience.

Expanding Artificial Intelligence Capabilities

Over the past eighteen months, artificial intelligence has become a major focus for the company.

Innovorder has built a dedicated AI team and introduced its first AI agents designed to assist customers with operational and management tasks.

At the centre of this strategy is Atlas, the company’s proprietary AI platform.

Atlas is designed to automate routine activities, streamline decision making, and integrate with existing software systems used by restaurant operators.

The company says these capabilities help reduce administrative workloads, allowing teams to focus more time on customer service, food quality, and business growth.

As AI adoption accelerates across industries, Innovorder sees intelligent automation as a key driver of future efficiency gains within hospitality and catering.

Growth and Profitability

The latest funding arrives during a period of strong momentum for the company.

Innovorder reports that it has been profitable since 2024 while maintaining annual organic growth of approximately 40 percent.

The company expects to generate €15 million in revenue during 2026, reflecting continued demand for digital solutions across the food service sector.

Its growth has been driven by increasing adoption among both commercial restaurant operators and large scale contract catering organisations.

Expanding Across Europe

The newly raised capital will support Innovorder’s broader European expansion strategy.

The company plans to invest in further product development, strengthen its AI capabilities, and expand into additional markets across the continent.

The funding may also support strategic acquisition opportunities that could accelerate growth and broaden the platform’s capabilities.

As restaurants and catering providers continue modernising operations, Innovorder is positioning itself as a technology partner capable of managing every stage of the food service journey. By combining cloud based software, operational intelligence, and artificial intelligence driven automation, the company aims to play a central role in shaping the future of restaurant and catering management across Europe.
