Corporate gifting has evolved far beyond sending generic branded mugs and notebooks. As companies expand globally and remote work becomes more common, gifting has become an important part of employee engagement, customer relationships, recruitment, and brand building. Yet behind the scenes, the industry remains highly fragmented, with many businesses still relying on disconnected suppliers, manual spreadsheets, inconsistent product quality, and complicated international logistics. Glasgow based corporate gifting platform Go Swag is building technology designed to modernise that process through AI driven curation, global fulfilment infrastructure, and automated gifting workflows.
Go Swag has secured $5 million in a funding round led by Mercia Ventures, with participation from Techstart Ventures and several strategic angel investors.
The latest financing brings the company’s total funding raised to $6.2 million.
The new investment will support international expansion, further product development, and continued investment in automation infrastructure.
Modernising an Outdated Industry
The global corporate gifting market is projected to grow significantly over the coming years, driven by increased focus on employee engagement, customer retention, and distributed workforces.
However, many companies still struggle to manage international gifting programmes efficiently.
Corporate gifting operations often involve fragmented supplier networks, inconsistent merchandise quality, customs management issues, warehousing challenges, and manual coordination processes across multiple countries.
Founded in 2019, Go Swag aims to simplify and centralise these workflows through a unified digital platform.
The company combines AI powered product recommendations, branded merchandise sourcing, warehousing, logistics management, and international fulfilment into a single system designed for global companies.
Replacing Traditional Merchandise Catalogues
According to Conor McKenna, the company was created in response to what it viewed as an outdated industry dominated by inefficient workflows and low quality products.
McKenna said traditional product catalogues are increasingly being replaced by smarter AI assisted systems capable of delivering more personalised and relevant gifting experiences.
Go Swag’s platform uses an AI recommendation engine called Sonny™ to help companies curate products more efficiently while improving the quality and relevance of corporate gifts.
The company believes automation and AI driven personalisation can significantly improve both operational efficiency and recipient experience.
Simplifying Global Distribution
One of the biggest challenges facing companies operating international gifting programmes is managing logistics and fulfilment across multiple markets.
Go Swag addresses this through warehouse infrastructure located across the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and the United States.
Its platform also includes Claim Pages™, a system designed to collect recipient information directly from end users in order to reduce administrative work, improve delivery accuracy, and simplify fulfilment operations.
According to the company, this infrastructure helps businesses maintain consistent brand standards while reducing the operational burden associated with managing gifting programmes internationally.
Expanding Internationally
Go Swag plans to use the newly secured funding to accelerate expansion, particularly across the United States market.
The company also intends to establish warehouse operations in Southeast Asia as part of its broader international logistics network.
Additional investment will go toward expanding the workforce and continuing development of automation systems across quoting, account management, product recommendations, and fulfilment operations.
Building the Future of Corporate Gifting
As companies increasingly seek more scalable and personalised ways to engage employees, customers, and partners globally, technology platforms modernising gifting infrastructure are becoming a growing category within enterprise software and commerce.
Go Swag is positioning itself at the intersection of AI powered commerce, logistics automation, and global brand engagement.
By combining product curation, fulfilment infrastructure, and automation into a single platform, the company aims to transform corporate gifting from a fragmented operational task into a more scalable and data driven business function.
