Evaro Turns Consumer Brands Into Care Providers With Fresh $25 Million Raise

In a year when pressure on primary care has reached a critical point, one company is betting that the future of healthcare delivery lies in embedding regulated clinical services directly into the digital platforms people already use. UK based Evaro, an NHS licensed digital healthcare infrastructure provider, has raised $25 million in Series A funding to accelerate the rollout of its embeddable medical services across the consumer market.

A Healthcare Engine Behind Consumer Brands

The funding round was led by AlbionVC with participation from Simplyhealth Ventures, Exceptional Ventures, Cornerstone VC, and BBI. The company, founded by medical professionals, has grown into a key infrastructure player enabling consumer brands to deliver compliant digital healthcare without building clinical systems from scratch.

Evaro provides prescribing and pharmacy capabilities behind the scenes, powering services across more than 80 conditions. To date, it has supported more than two million patients through partnerships with major consumer facing companies.

Integrated End to End Digital Care

Evaro’s platform offers a full stack of regulated digital care, including asynchronous clinical consultations, remote diagnostics, prescribing, dispensing, and patient aftercare. Its embeddable architecture allows brands to activate healthcare services within days, enabling them to launch clinically robust offerings with minimal operational lift.

For partners, the model unlocks new revenue opportunities and increases customer retention as healthcare becomes an integrated part of their digital ecosystem. For patients, it provides faster access to regulated treatment pathways without needing to navigate strained primary care services.

Easing Pressure on the NHS

Dr Thuria Wenbar, CEO and co founder of Evaro, said the company’s mission is rooted in practical necessity. “We have built infrastructure that allows trusted consumer brands to offer safe, regulated healthcare for common conditions without having to develop or manage clinical systems themselves,” she noted.

The rise in waiting times for GP appointments across the UK has made accessible care pathways essential. Many patients now face long delays for conditions that could be managed digitally through structured clinical protocols. Evaro’s model aims to redirect some of this demand while maintaining clinical oversight and regulatory compliance.

Growth Driven by Consumer and System Demand

With the shift toward digital first healthcare, consumer brands are increasingly looking to integrate clinical treatment options into their existing suites of wellness, lifestyle, and service products. Evaro’s embeddable approach positions it as the infrastructure backbone for this emerging market.

The company has already gained traction across sectors where regulated treatments are in demand, from dermatology and sexual health to chronic condition support. Its platform is designed to evolve with changing regulatory requirements and supports partners that must deliver care at scale.

Expansion Plans for Healthcare as a Service

The new funding will be used to broaden Evaro’s healthcare as a service infrastructure across the UK, enhance clinical automation, and support expanding partnerships. The company plans to grow its medical, engineering, and operations teams to meet rising demand and to strengthen its compliance framework as more brands adopt embedded healthcare services.

Evaro also aims to extend the breadth of supported conditions and diagnostics, creating a more comprehensive environment for remote care. As regulatory confidence in embedded healthcare grows, the platform is positioned to play a central role in how non healthcare brands move into treatment provision.

A New Layer in the Digital Health Landscape

With its Series A financing secured, Evaro is poised to shape a new category in digital health by acting as the regulated engine behind consumer applications. As the UK healthcare system confronts ongoing strain, the company sees its mission as enabling safe, scalable alternatives that fit naturally into modern digital behaviour.
