French customer intelligence startup Actionable has raised $10 million in new funding to expand its platform for predicting customer behaviour and identifying the operational factors that influence those decisions.
The round was led by Hi Inov, with participation from existing investor Axeleo Capital. Founded in 2024 by co CEOs Nicolas Rieul and Nans Thomas, Actionable is developing an AI powered platform that helps large companies understand customer behaviour across the entire customer journey.
The company’s technology is designed to help businesses predict churn, customer satisfaction, complaints and repeat purchases while identifying the specific factors driving those outcomes.
Moving Beyond Customer Surveys
Traditional customer experience systems often depend on surveys, which provide detailed feedback but typically cover only a small portion of a company’s customer base. Predictive marketing systems, meanwhile, tend to rely heavily on transactional and CRM information.
Actionable takes a broader approach by combining customer data with operational information generated throughout the customer journey.
Its platform can connect transactions, CRM records, web and application activity, surveys and operational data to create a common customer model tailored to each industry. The company’s website says its system can connect data from sources such as point of sale systems, CRM platforms, surveys, websites, applications and operational logs.
Understanding Why Customers Act
Actionable’s objective is not simply to generate a prediction. It also seeks to identify the underlying causes behind customer behaviour.
For example, operational factors such as waiting times, delivery performance, delays or order preparation can influence satisfaction and purchasing behaviour. By incorporating these signals into its customer model, the platform can identify changes that may lead to dissatisfaction before they develop into complaints.
The company describes its technology as a causal AI prediction platform, designed to identify the drivers behind key customer metrics, detect important thresholds and predict individual customer behaviour.
Building a Common Customer Model
A major part of Actionable’s technology is its Common Model, which is designed to transform fragmented enterprise data into a standardised structure.
Customers provide raw tabular data from their existing systems, after which Actionable organises the information around the customer journey and the specific requirements of the business.
The company says its platform can bring together multiple data sources without requiring months of traditional data engineering work. Its technology also includes hundreds of pre built drivers that can be adapted to different industries.
This approach is intended to address a major challenge for enterprise AI. Simply placing an AI model on top of a company’s data warehouse does not necessarily give the system enough context to understand what individual fields and operational metrics actually mean.
AI Analyst Joins the Platform
Actionable has also developed Actionable Intelligence, an AI analyst designed to work directly with the company’s customer data model.
The system allows users to ask questions in natural language and analyse structured enterprise data across multiple sources. Actionable says its answers are linked to underlying data and designed to provide auditable results rather than operating as an opaque black box.
The company currently says its platform analyses more than €37 billion in transactions and predicts more than 117 million customers daily, while reporting more than 80 percent prediction accuracy.
Expanding Across Industries
Actionable works with companies across retail, financial services, insurance, transportation, energy, telecommunications and automotive sectors. Its customer base includes organisations such as Carrefour, SNCF, Sephora, Fnac Darty and Engie, according to the company.
The startup says its platform has already been used to predict satisfaction, churn and complaint risks across large customer populations.
Scaling Internationally
The new funding will be used to expand Actionable’s product, engineering and sales teams while supporting international growth through reseller partnerships and expansion into the United States.
The company is positioning its technology as an operating layer between fragmented enterprise data and customer decisions, giving businesses the ability to understand what is happening, identify why it is happening and intervene before customer behaviour changes.
With fresh capital behind its expansion, Actionable is now aiming to turn its predictive customer intelligence platform into a global enterprise AI business.
