Designing Trust, Intelligence, and Connection: Samsung’s Tech Forums at CES 2026

Samsung Electronics posted that it will host a series of high-level Technology Forum discussions during CES 2026, underlining the company’s ambition to shape conversations around artificial intelligence, digital trust, design, and the future of connected living. The forums will take place on January 5 and 6, 2026, respectively, at the Latour Ballroom in Wynn Las Vegas, located in Samsung’s dedicated exhibition space.

The four moderated panels will bring together Samsung executives alongside partners, academics, media representatives, and industry analysts to explore how emerging technologies are influencing everyday life and how AI, in particular, can be responsibly deployed at scale. According to its official website, Samsung’s long-term AI vision is to create “AI for All”: technology that is secure, human-centric, and seamlessly embedded across devices, services, and environments.

Open Ecosystems and Smart Living

The first forum, scheduled for the morning of January 5, will center on the role of open ecosystems in driving meaningful AI-driven experiences in the smart home. Chaired by Yoonho Choi of Samsung’s Digital Appliances Business, the discussion will investigate why collaboration across industries is critical to smart home technologies transcending siloed features and finding their place into daily life. Samsung has repeatedly emphasized openness and interoperability as key components of its strategy in the connected home market, using alliances and standards bodies to ensure that devices can work with one another across brands and platforms.

Trust, Security and Privacy in the AI Era

Later in the day, Samsung will devote one of the panel discussions to one of the most onerous issues yet in modern technology: trust. Under the leadership of Shin Baik, Group Head of AI Platform Center at Samsung Electronics, transparency, robust security, and privacy-by-design principles will be discussed as ways to engender more confidence in AI systems. Samsung highlights its multi-layered security framework, including hardware-based protection and on-device AI processing, as integral to safeguarding user data in the intelligent and connected world.

Redefining Television and Streaming

In the afternoon, the spotlight will fall on entertainment and media. A panel discussion, led by Salek Brodsky, Executive Vice President of Samsung’s Visual Display Business, examines the future of television as new streaming models upend the landscape. Discussions will cover FAST-free ad-supported streaming television, hybrid distribution models, and creator-led channels. But Samsung also bills itself as a leader in display technology and has been expanding its smart TV platforms to integrate a diverse range of content ecosystems and interactive features that reflect the changing habits of viewers worldwide.

Human-Centered Design and Creativity

On January 6, Samsung will round out its forum series by focusing on design and the human side of technology. Chaired by Mauro Porcini, President and Chief Design Officer of Samsung’s DX Division, this session will challenge the industry to move beyond purely functional or minimalist approaches. Instead, speakers will make a case for more expressive, emotionally engaging design powered by new materials, AI-driven creativity, and a deeper understanding of human needs. Samsung’s design philosophy, as reflected in its online overview, emphasizes how technology should inspire and enrich lives, not just deliver tasks.

Complementing Product Innovation

The Technology Forums complement Samsung’s CES 2026 presence, where the Company will be showcasing its latest product innovations throughout the Samsung Exhibition Zone at the Wynn from January 5 to 7. For students, researchers, and observers of technology trends, the forums offer a window into how one of the world’s largest technology companies is thinking about AI not just as a technical capability, but as a social, cultural, and ethical force. By combining thought leadership with product demonstrations, Samsung aspires to put itself at the center of global conversations about how technology should evolve — and how it can be shaped to serve people more meaningfully in the years ahead.
