Founded by entrepreneur James Dacombe, Olix is developing an optical digital processor designed specifically for artificial intelligence inference workloads.

Strengthening Leadership
Alongside the funding announcement, Olix has expanded its leadership team with two experienced technology executives.
Former Wise Chief Financial Officer Matt Briers has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer, bringing significant experience in scaling high growth technology businesses.
The company has also appointed Stanford University computer science professor and former Intel executive Nick McKeown to its Board of Directors, adding extensive semiconductor and networking expertise as Olix prepares for commercial expansion.
These appointments strengthen the company’s leadership during a critical period of product development and market entry.
