The investment round was led by P101 SGR, with participation from existing shareholders and new healthcare focused investors, including family offices Namarel and Inderhabs.

Founded in 2018 by Guido Magrin and Luca Iozzia, the company has developed a technology platform aimed at supporting care professionals in environments such as nursing homes, rehabilitation centres, and dementia care units.

This latest funding will enable TeiaCare to scale its operations, enhance its technology capabilities, and expand into new international markets.

Transforming Care with AI and Sensors

At the core of TeiaCare’s offering is its proprietary platform, Ancelia, which combines optical sensors with artificial intelligence to monitor care environments in real time.

The system captures data on patient behaviour, movement, and environmental conditions, converting it into actionable insights that support caregivers in decision making. By providing continuous monitoring, the platform helps reduce risks, improve response times, and optimise daily workflows within care facilities.

Unlike traditional monitoring systems, Ancelia is designed to be non intrusive while delivering detailed intelligence that enhances both safety and operational efficiency.

The demand for long term care services is rising rapidly, driven by demographic shifts and increasing life expectancy. At the same time, the sector faces persistent workforce shortages and operational challenges, placing additional strain on caregivers and institutions.

TeiaCare’s leadership believes that technology is no longer optional in addressing these structural issues. Currently, TeiaCare serves more than 150 clients across over 200 facilities, covering approximately 75,000 residents. This growing footprint highlights the increasing adoption of digital solutions in the residential healthcare sector.

With the new funding, TeiaCare plans to further develop its capabilities in Data, Spatial, and Care Intelligence. These enhancements are expected to deepen the platform’s analytical power, enabling more precise insights and predictive capabilities.

International Expansion Plans
